Request account & data deletion
Delete your account and all associated data directly inside the app:
App→Settings→Privacy & Data→Delete Account
This permanently removes your collection, wear history, Olfe memory, community posts, marketplace listings, and login credentials. If you no longer have app access, email us using the address associated with your account. We will process deletion within 30 days.
Email deletion request ↗Olfe ("we", "our", or "us") is a fragrance collection and AI companion app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We collect only what is needed to operate the app; we do not sell your data.

Information we collect
Account information
Your email and optional display name, profile photo, and about-me text. Google or Apple sign-in may provide your name, email, and photo.
Fragrance collection & wear data
Fragrances, brands, formats, ratings, occasions, seasons, notes, bottle sizes, wear logs, wishlist items, and compliment counts used to power Olfe’s recommendations.
Biometric and health data
With permission, Galaxy Watch or Apple HealthKit may provide heart rate and HRV for Serenity Score and Sillage features. Olfe never writes to HealthKit, and this optional data is never used for advertising.
Location, camera, calendar, contacts & photos
Approximate location provides local weather and is not retained. Identification photos are sent to Anthropic Claude and not stored after the request. Calendar data is read on-device. Contact emails may be compared for friend-finding but are not stored. A selected profile image is stored with your profile.
Imports, community & marketplace
CSV imports are parsed on-device and raw files are not stored. Posts, comments, reactions, poll votes, messages, reports, and listings are stored with your account.
AI memory, diagnostics & connected devices
Olfe conversations and memory are stored for personalization and can be cleared. Sentry may collect device, OS, app version, and stack traces in production, but not fragrance, health, or personally identifiable data. Paired Meta Ray-Ban glasses receive the current recommendation and collection summary for the active session only. Device storage supports caching, notifications, and preferences.

Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising. Data is shared only with the services above to operate features you actively use. Health data is never shared for purposes beyond the in-app Serenity Score and Sillage features.
Where a screen shows a "Shop" link to a retailer we partner with (e.g. FragranceNet, MicroPerfumes), tapping it shares a referral click — not your account or personal information — with that retailer's affiliate network (Rakuten Advertising) so we can be credited if you make a purchase. These links are always clearly labeled and only appear where you've chosen to view a specific fragrance's buying options.

Data retention & deletion
Data is retained while your account is active. Account deletion permanently removes your collection, wear history, AI memory, posts, listings, and other account data. You may also email support@scentvaultapp.com.

Security
We use HTTPS/TLS in transit. Supabase authentication and row-level security restrict access to authorized users. HealthKit data is processed under Apple’s HealthKit protection framework.

Google Play Data Safety summary
- Personal information: email, profile name, and avatar
- User content: collection, wear logs, wishlist, notes, ratings, listings, and posts
- Health and fitness: optional heart rate and HRV for app features
- Approximate location: weather recommendations; not stored
- Calendar and contacts: context and friend-finding; not stored
- Camera and media: identification photos and selected profile photo
- App activity: production crash reports without PII

Children’s privacy
Olfe is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe we have done so and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights
Access, correct, or delete your information through the app or by emailing support@scentvaultapp.com. Revoke HealthKit access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

Changes to this policy
Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
